Hyderabad: Telangana has secured an investment of USD 1 billion from US pharma major Eli Lilly to expand its manufacturing and global medicine supply capacity in Hyderabad.

The announcement was made after a delegation from the company met Chief Minister A Revanth Redd y and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu at the Integrated Command Control Centre here on Monday.

The company inaugurated its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad in August this year. Despite strong interest from several other states
