The organising guru courageously revealed in 2023 that she had been diagnosed with stage one womb cancer after undergoing surgery to remove uterine fibroids.

Dilly has chronicled her healing process, detailing hospital admissions and medical interventions.

She endured major surgery lasting nearly six hours, which successfully removed the malignant growth from her womb.
