Bond elections: Early walk-in voting is available Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at county election boards for voters living in the attendance areas for Anderson, Lone Star and Oologah-Talala Public Schools.
A dependent district on Sand Springs’ north side, Anderson has a three-part, $2.4 million proposal. Proposition No. 1 would pay for roofing and drainage improvements. Proposition No. 2 would provide funding for parking lot improvements and proposition No. 3 would pay for transportation needs. The district’s two previous bond proposals earlier this year both failed to reach the 60% approval threshold required by state law.
Creek County’s Lone Star School has a two-part, $510,000 proposal for technology and transportation needs.
