The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced the schedule for bye-elections to eight Assembly constituencies across seven states. The poll panel said that the polling will be held on November 11, while votes will be counted on November 14, 2025.

The bypolls will be held in the following constituencies: Tarn Taran in Punjab, Ghatshila in Jharkhand, Anta in Rajasthan, Jubilee Hills in Telangana, Dampa in Mizoram, and Nuapada in Odisha, Budgam and Nagrota constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir.

The results of the bypolls to the eight assembly seats will be announced alongside the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar announced the by-election dates and the full schedule at a press conference held at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.
