Tees Maar Khan, directed by Farah Khan and starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, may not have been a box office blockbuster in 2010, but it found a second life as a pop culture phenomenon. While the film was initially believed to have flopped, certain elements—such as the over-the-top dialogues, eccentric characters, and quirky scenes—have turned it into a sensation today. However, now Farah Khan has clarified that the film was never a flop in the first place.
Farah Khan reacted to a post titled, ‘A flop movie that I secretly love.’ She wrote in the comments section of the Instagram post, “Just for our knowledge, it made Rs 60 crore then! Not a flop… just ripped apart." While the film did not get good reviews when it was released, it has a massive following now.
