A boozed-up couple died in a scalding motel bathtub after celebrating their daughter's fourth birthday. ‌

Military police officer Jeferson Luiz Sagaz, 37, and his partner Ana Carolina Silva, 41, died in the bath in Sao Jose in Brazil on August 11 in what has been described as a "tragic accident." ‌

Ana owned a nail salon and the pair had spent the day drinking at a food park, before going to a nightclub and checking into the Dallas Motel around midnight. ‌
