Maria Huete remembers the first time that she and members of the Junior League of New Orleans discussed creating a program to help parents, especially women, by providing one of the basic needs for their children — diapers.

“From 2012 to 2013, we held a planning session to work on our mission and our projects,” said Huete, past president of the league. “It was around that same time I read an article about a program called the ‘Every Little Bottom Study’ that was commissioned by Huggies (a Kimberly-Clark company).
