A fire broke out at a recycling facility in Northwest Miami-Dade early Monday, according to fire rescue.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said 17 units responded to the fire near Northwest 37th Avenue and Northwest North River Drive at 3:20 a.m.

Firefighters saw flames and smoke coming from the facility and were able to prevent the fire from spreading further, authorities said.

"Firefighting efforts involved using hose lines and ladders to attack the fire from multiple angles and to gain a better vantage point of the fire," fire rescue said.

No one was injured, and crews were able to bring the flames under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
