Someone has gotten away with shoplifting seven times from the Lowe’s store in Bloomfield Township in the past few months, officials said, and police detectives are attempting to identify the thief.

According to the Bloomfield Township Police Department, employees reported the thefts dating back to July 2 — all by the same person — with stolen items totaling $1,272. The store is located at 1801 S. Telegraph Rd.

The Oakland Press has reached out to the Bloomfield Township Police Department for more details on the retail frauds and the suspect.
