Some bartenders are saying the youngest drinkers are the ones tipping less frequently at bars and restaurants than others.

Bartenders told The San Francisco Standard they’ve noticed poor tipping habits from Gen Z drinkers.

A Bankrate study formerly found Gen Zers and millennials to be the least frequent tippers, regardless of the business or scenario.

Gen Z and millennials tend to tip less often than older generations, according to a Bankrate study released this summer.

And one of those areas where it’s becoming apparent appears to be at the bar. Several bartenders reportedly shared what they’re noticing about Gen Z and their drinking habits.
