Isaw Yorgos Lanthimos’ Kinds of Kindness 15 months ago. I’m still not sure how I feel about it . My mixed feelings wouldn’t stop me from rewatching it again right now because I loved both of its stars. Lanthimos got amazing performances from two of my favorites in the film, Jesse Plemons and Emma Stone. Now the three are reuniting again for Bugonia . And the film’s latest trailer makes it look just as weird as Kinds of Kindness . Only—somehow—with an even more outrageous premise.

Plemons and Stone could read the phonebook together for five hours and we’d pay to watch. However, we’re much more excited to see them acting in this film about “two conspiracy obsessed young men kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet
