LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police officers arrested two men in connection with credit card fraud, involving the use of cards stolen from elderly victims.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, Virgil Mozee and Nathaniel Porter III were caught on surveillance cameras using stolen cards at Walgreens, Meijer and Kroger.

The pair is accused of targeting the shopping carts of women in their 70s and 80s. They were caught taking the wallets of these victims and were also caught spending the money.

Police say the pair also went to the stores in vehicles registered in their own names. All those cars were seized.

The two racked up $5,013.92 in fraudulent transactions.
