PEORIA, Ill. – Another person has has been charged in connection to unrest following a recent shooting in downtown Peoria.
28-year-old Quovideous Pierson was arrested early Friday morning, just before 2:45 A.M., in the area of Perry and Main, and charged with Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer and Obstructing Police.
Police did not state what Pierson’s alleged actions were during the early morning hours of September 28th.
Pierson is the seventh person charged in connection to a group of more than 50 people impeding emergency personnel from assisting a gunshot wound victim in downtown Peoria.
Five people have been charged with Aggravated Battery, while a sixth person was charged with allegedly stealing a police officer’s magazine and ammunition.
