HALES CORNERS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Hales Corners Fire Department responded to a fire at the Hale House Restaurant early Monday, Oct. 6.

Crews say they were dispatched at around 3:41 a.m. and found flames on the building’s exterior that had spread into the kitchen. The fire was under control within about 25 minutes.

Two people passing by on W. Forest Home Ave. reportedly saw the fire and called 911. Investigators believe it began in a towel bin outside the building, though the cause remains under review.

No injuries were reported by officials.

The restaurant posted online, "Unfortunately we will be closed due to a fire that happened early this morning. We are still assessing the damage... We will provide updates as we work to reopen."
