Clifton ISD student facing third degree terroristic threat charge after bomb threat on Tik Tok, police say

CLIFTON, Texas (KWTX) - UPDATE 10/9/25: Clifton police say the juvenile has been charged with a third degree felony for terroristic threat.

“Charges are forthcoming” in the case of the Clifton Independent School District student accused of making a bomb threat on the social media platform Tik Tok, police said.

On Sept. 28, police were made aware of a Tik Tok account with the name “Im Bombing Clifton Texas.”

The account contained no content other than the Clifton ISD logo and was shared around Clifton and with several Clifton ISD students.

District administrators were made aware of the account although it did not appear there was any danger to any Clifton ISD students, police said.

The threat was not made directly at Clifton ISD, but to the Clifton community, police further said.
