EastEnders fans have been left ‘divided’ over Ben Mitchell's return as they said they said Callum Highway’s affair is ‘not working’.

It was announced during the summer that Ben actor Max Bowden would be back on the BBC soap to make a brief appearance to attend Callum's dad Jonno Highway’s funeral.

While Ben has been in prison for tax fraud in the United States, Callum and Johnny Carter slowly began to fall for one another in recent months as they engaged in a passionate affair.
