MAYSVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A Pennsylvania man wanted in connection with kidnapping his wife was arrested early Friday morning at a Kentucky hotel following a coordinated multi-agency operation.

Shawn Michael Prince was taken into custody without incident at the Quality Inn in Maysville after Kentucky State Police’s Special Response Team safely recovered his wife, Lydia Prince, according to the Maysville Police Department.

The operation began at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Oct. 4 when Maysville Police Dispatch received a call from the Scottdale Police Department in Pennsylvania. Authorities believed the couple may have been in the Maysville area.

Law enforcement determined the Princes were staying at the Quality Inn.
