Taylor Swift is peeling back the curtain — and revealing what her life as a showgirl is really like — by sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the making of her latest album.

“Being in the studio and creating these songs was an unforgettable experience,” Swift, 35, wrote via Instagram on Monday, October 6, alongside pictures of her working in the studio on The Life of a Showgirl.

She revealed, “Luckily I don’t ever have to forget it because I was recording while we were writing — and now it’s a way to look back on the process and give you guys a glimpse into how we wrote these songs and hear the moments we thought of these ideas in real time.”

The Grammy winner, who released her 12th studio album on Friday, October 3, then shared several snaps of her writing process via social media.
