Srinagar, Oct 06: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir spokesperson Altaf Thakur on Monday accused the J&K Congress president Tariq Hameed Karra and senior leader Ghulam Ahmad Mir of pasting posters of Rahul Gandhi on government vehicles, terming the act as a “gross misuse” of official property and a reflection of the Congress party’s “frustration”.
In a statement issued here, Thakur said, “Using government vehicles for political promotion is unethical and amounts to the misuse of public resources. It is shameful that Congress leaders, who once held high offices, have stooped to using government assets for political publicity. This exposes their desperation and disregard for administrative norms.”
