In a move aimed at improving last-mile connectivity for Maharashtra’s first bullet train station in Thane district, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday directed officials to explore the possibility of linking the upcoming Mhatardi bullet train station with Thane railway station, Kopar railway station, and the Taloja Metro line.

The directions were issued during a review meeting held at the MSRDC office, attended by Shinde’s Principal Secretary Naveen Sona, officials from MahaRail, and the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL).
