He signed with the Sting as a free agent at training camp after spending the past four junior seasons in three provinces and one state.

“I started in AA hockey and I just slowly worked my way up every year and went to a new team,” he said. “(I) worked my way up the lineup every year and just eventually got to the OHL, which is exciting.”

Bax began his junior career as a 16-year-old in Pittston, Pa., playing for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights in the United States Premier Hockey League in 2021-22.
