SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - A man was arrested and charged with several felony and misdemeanor counts on Sunday afternoon after a reported stabbing on East 8th Avenue and South Eastern Road.
The suspect, 18, was charged with four counts of assault in the first degree, malicious mischief in the third degree, and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence.
Deputies from the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) responded to the site of the stabbing at around 3:15 p.m. They found a woman with an apparent stab would to the leg, who was transported to the hospital although SCSO said the injury was not life-threatening.
Several other witnesses reported the man attempted to stab them and pointed a gun at their heads. It was later determined by SCSO that the gun was a "realistic-looking
