MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

A Moon Area School District bus was involved in a crash with another vehicle Monday afternoon along a busy road in Moon Township.

Sky 4, Pittsburgh's only news chopper, was over the scene in the area of Montour Run Road and Fedex Drive just before 5 p.m., where it appeared officials were working to tow the school bus off the side of the road.

Multiple lanes appeared to have also been blocked off in the area, resulting in traffic delays and backups.

The Valley Ambulance Authority said in a press release following the incident that multiple units responded to the intersection following reports of a vehicle crash.

It was determined that the bus had been occupied with multiple students, the release said.
