Brandon Valley and Huron have taken over as the No. 1 teams in Class 11AAA and Class 11AA, respectively, in the latest South Dakota Prep Media Football Poll released on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025.

Sioux Falls Christian (11A), Elk Point-Jefferson (11B), Freeman-Marion/Freeman Academy (9AA), Wall (9A) and Sully Buttes (9B) are still No. 1 in their respective divisions .

There were some excessive changes in this week's poll, especially in Class 11AA. Lennox (Class 11A) and Clark-Willow Lake (11B) are newcomers this week.
