GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - We are around a month into the fall semester at many universities, but now’s the time to start thinking about applying for financial aid for the spring semester.

Many of you might be wondering if the federal government shutdown will impact you or your student getting aid.

At Southwest High School in Green Bay, officials from the Universities of Wisconsin, the Green Bay Area Public School District, and the Unified District of De Pere spoke on the importance of removing barriers for students to attend college.
