Cyndi Lauper is moving on to her next project: Her first-ever Las Vegas residency. With her farewell tour in the rear-view mirror, Lauper, who has said she doesn't plan on touring again, will settle down at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in April and May next year. In an Instagram post announcing Cyndi Lauper: Live In Las Vegas, Lauper wrote, "Vegas will become 'Cyn City' next spring, when I bring my Girls Just Wanna Have Fun show to town for this special run, an opportunity for fans who missed my Farewell Tour to celebrate one last time." A pre-sale for the five-show run begins Wednesday, with general ticket sales starting on 10 October. Lauper closed out her nearly year-long Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour with a two-night stand on 29 and 30 August at the Hollywood Bowl, where her CBS special, A Grammy Salute to Cyndi Lauper: Live from the Hollywood Bowl was taped. The world premiere of Lauper's stage musical adaptation of 1988's Working Girl is set to run from 28 October in San Diego. Lauper will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on 8 November at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. Other inductees include Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Outkast, Soundgarden and The White Stripes.
