Yakima airport director placed on leave following resignation announcement

According to the Yakima Air Terminal, Director Rob Hodgman is on leave as of Mon., Oct. 6 through his planned resignation date, Oct. 31.

Hodgman reportedly turned in his keys, phone and badge on Fri., Oct. 3.

YAKIMA, Wash. – Following the resignation of Yakima Air Terminal director Rob Hodgman, the city of Yakima will be searching for a new candidate to fill the position, according to City Manager Vicki Baker.

City officials assured the public that airport operations will proceed as usual during the search for Hodgman’s replacement.

“We’re going to be looking for a director
