NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The New Haven Museum is putting the finishing touches on an upcoming exhibit they expect will appeal to almost every taste.

The exhibit, titled "Pronounced Ah-Beetz," will showcase the pizza culture of the Elm City. It is set to open Thursday evening and occupy a second-floor exhibit space for the next two years.

Colin Caplan, the self-proclaimed “pizza guru” of New Haven and co-curator of the show said, “We have all the pizza history [going] back 150 years in New Haven."

"Italian immigrants came here and brought this amazing food to us,” Caplan said. “It’s a great show and it will teach you and everyone else what pizza and history is all about in New Haven.”
