President Donald Trump said Monday that he will speak to the Justice Department about a possible presidential pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell .
Trump has spent the past several months dodging controversy surrounding Maxwell and her former associate and disgraced financier, Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell gave a series of interviews to Trump’s DOJ after the administration angered the president’s base by saying earlier this year that there is no so-called “Epstein List.”
