The Calgary Flames have their roster set for opening night.
The team has decided to put together a group which includes 15 forwards, eight defencemen, two goalies.
Among the players that will break camp with the team include forward Matvei Gridin and and defenceman Zayne Parekh.
Parekh, 19, has been pushing to make the roster out of camp but knowing there is still work to do to be a consistent presence in the lineup. He was skating as an extra defenceman in practice on Monday
Gridin, 19, is expected to take Huberdeau’s spot alongside centre Morgan Frost and right-winger Matt Coronato
The team will also have a couple of players who won’t be available to start the season.
Jonathan Huberdeau and Martin Pospisil have been placed on injured reserve, the team announced.
