Loganberry Books will host Shaker Heights native Abby White, author of “D.J. Rosenblum Becomes the G.O.A.T.,” at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at 13015 Larchmere Blvd. in Shaker Heights.

The young adult novel, also White’s debut novel, was released on Aug. 5. The book explores themes of grief and coming-of-age through the story of a 14-year-old girl who moves to suburban Ohio and decides to investigate the recent death of a family member while studying to become a bat mitzvah.
