LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — After the devastating murder-suicide in Lincoln on Friday, domestic violence organizations are stepping up.

Voices of Hope, a local crisis intervention service, offers help for victims suffering from sexual assault, domestic violence and many other crimes.

“Everything that we can do in all of the ways big and small, I think is important,” said Natalie Roberts-Day, the executive director.

Because this marks the third murder-suicide in Lincoln this year, Roberts-Day said they want to be there for those that need it in any way they can, including their partnership with the Lincoln Police Department.

“When a perpetrator is lodged or arrested for a domestic assault, that officer contacts our advocates and we try and make contact with that victim to let them know that
