Goodwill opening new store in East Rochester. First 100 shoppers get a gift card

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is opening a store on Oct. 10 in East Rochester.

It’s in the former Big Lots in Country Club Plaza (anchored by Wegmans) at the corner of Route 31F and Marsh Road.

The first 100 shoppers 16 and older will get a $10 Goodwill gift card.

Measuring 28,175 square feet, the store will sell a wide selection of gently used apparel, shoes and accessories, home décor and housewares, as well as a curated assortment of new goods and seasonal finds.

All sales proceeds will go to support programs and services including Goodwill Vision Services, 211/LIFE LINE, Goodwill Learning Academy, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, workforce development and Good Neighbor Program.
