SPOKANE, Wash. — Meals on Wheels Spokane is hosting a Great Pumpkin Race & Family Carnival on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., under the pavilion at Riverfront Park. The event is free and open to the public.

The Great Pumpkin Race invites participants to take pumpkins and make designs for the pumpkins to move on wheels.

The first 200 racers to sign up for the race in advance will get an official Great Pumpkin Race tote bag.

Below is a list of different race categories:

Ages 1-5

Ages 6-10

Ages 11-15

Ages 16+

Corporate Cup (for local businesses to compete against each other and get bragging rights)
