Year-end numbers from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) show that online gambling continues to be the main driver of growth for the commonwealth’s casino operations.
Legalized gambling in Pennsylvania brought in roughly $6.4 billion in revenue to PGCB-regulated operators in the 2024-25 fiscal year, according to the agency’s recently released annual report, generating $2.8 billion in tax revenue for the state.
But regular slots and table games, along with truck stop gaming terminals, sports betting and fantasy sports contests, all saw relatively stagnant revenue compared to the 2023-24 fiscal year, with nearly all of the growth found in online “interactive gaming” programs.
