ITALY – The Winter Olympics are set to start in just 123 days, and host nation Italy is planning a unique opening ceremony with four flag bearers, two each in Milan and Cortina.
The Olympic flame will be ignited in ancient Olympia, Greece, on November 26. For the first time, two cauldrons will be lit, one in Milan and one in Cortina.
The flame is scheduled to arrive in Rome on December 4, beginning its journey across Italy on December 6.
