WACO, Texas (KWTX) - More people are attending the Heart O’ Texas Fair and Rodeo to see what it has to offer.

Tickets can be as low as $18 dollars a person to as high as $134, but there are ways people can save a few coins.

Joining competitions at the Heart O’ Texas Fair and Rodeo has been a tradition in many families, like the Krolls.

Kaylee and her husband Kelly said they’ve grown up in Waco and have been coming to the fair for over 25 years, but watching their kids Calli and Carter enjoy has been a treat.

“Obviously, the mutton bustin. Now that we have kids, I’ve been looking forward to this day since the minute I found out I was pregnant,” said Kaylee, “Seeing them go out there, we’re just really proud that they went out there and did it, I’m shocked.”
