Australia squad for India series: Left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc is back in Australia’s ODI squad for the upcoming three-match series against India at home later this month. Starc sat out from Australia’s three-match ODI series against South Africa at home as part of his workload management in the lead up to the Ashes later this year.

Mitchell Marsh will continue to lead Australia in ODIs in the absence of Pat Cummins who is recovering from an injury. Besides Starc, Mitchell Owen, Matthew Renshaw and Matthew Short have also been recalled into the 15-man squad that will take on India from October 19.

Left-hand batter Renshaw is back in the one-day setup for the first time since 2022 following prolific one-day performances for Australia A and Queensland. He’s yet to make his ODI debut.
