Gas leak reported in Carmi at the Little Wabash River

CARMI, Ill. (WFIE) - The Carmi Police Department is cautioning all residents after a service line break was discovered in the Little Wabash River.

As a result, officials say all areas east of the river have their gas shut off.

Additionally, all locations between Main Street and Robinson Street from the VFW to Church Street are also shut off.

Consumers Gas says they expect to have service restored Tuesday morning.
