SAN ANTONIO — A former Catholic high school coach is under investigation by San Antonio police after a coworker discovered a hidden camera disguised as an alarm clock inside his office.

The 34-year-old part-time coach at Holy Cross High School was fired Thursday night following the discovery, according to the attorney representing the school.

Police said the camera contained footage of the suspect having sex with another adult, as well as recordings of at least three students changing into gym clothes inside the office.

“We are shocked, and we are surprised,” said attorney Ricardo Cedillo.

Cedillo said the suspect had passed extensive background checks before being hired and had no prior history of complaints. The coach is not being identified since police have not arrested or charged
