TYLER, Texas — The Great Pumpkin Patch is back at First Christian Church for its 20th year, bringing the community together with pumpkins, gourds, and decorative squash just in time for Halloween.

The patch, located at Broadway and the Loop, is more than just a seasonal attraction — it raises funds for the church’s youth programming while providing a fun, family-friendly activity for Tyler residents.

“It provides a wonderful opportunity in the community for people to come out, shop for pumpkins, take pictures of the kids in the pumpkin patch,” said Ton DeWitt of First Christian Church. “We have special events all during the month of October. It is just an all-around good community activity, and that’s the reason we are on this corner — to be the heart of Tyler.”
