PROCTOR — Gianna Hansen left no doubt in Proctor’s Section 7A playoff opener Monday evening.
The senior scored five goals in a 6-0 win over Lakes International Language Academy, which punched Proctor’s ticket to Wednesday’s 7A semifinals. The Rails will host the winner of Legacy Christian Academy and Duluth Marshall.
Hansen got Proctor on the board in the 18th minute when she found the back of the net off a Cassidy Bakk pass. Six minutes later, Hansen made it 2-0 when she assisted Madison Corder’s goal.
Proctor kept going back to the well, as Hansen added two more goals in the first half before scoring again in the 45th and 49th minutes of the second frame. It was a dominant effort, one that saw Hansen score or assist every goal of the evening.
