MILWAUKEE — To get the energy to cheer on the Brewers swinging their bats against the Chicago Cubs in Game 2 of the NLDS, Brewers fans were swinging brats while tailgating.

Meats are an essential for Davon Brown. “Got to have the bags. Of course brats, burgers, the whole thing,” he said, waiting in the car with his family four hours before game time.

It was Round 2 of the I-94 rivalry, which meant Round 2 of the biggest baseball party in the Midwest. Milwaukee won 7-3 Monday night with a 2-0 lead. Both teams will face off Wednesday; first pitch is scheduled at 4:08 p.m.

“This is a pretty, pretty standard thing for us to tailgate and, you know, soak in all the environment and festivities,” Brown said.
