CHICOPEE – As friends and family entered Captain John W. Maloney Memorial Field on Monday night, they were greeted with banners, streamers, balloons, and celebration as the Chicopee girls soccer team prepared to compete against Greenfield on Senior Night.

And the festivities weren’t short-lived, as Cassidy Pytel recorded multiple second-half goals to ensure the Pacers earned a 3-0 win at home in their second matchup of the season against the Green Wave. The outcome also marked Chicopee’s third shutout of the season.
