The Chicago Cubs are one loss away from elimination after Andrew Vaughn and William Contreras hit home runs in a 7-3 Milwaukee Brewers win Monday.

Seiya Suzuki put the Cubs ahead 3-0 in the first inning, but the Brewers scored seven unanswered runs off of three home runs to put their division rivals in a 2-0 series hole as things shift back to Wrigley Field for Game 3.

Jackson Chourio, who left Game 1 of the series with a hamstring injury, hit a critical insurance home run in the fourth when he hit a mammoth three-run blast to put the game out of reach for Chicago.

Shota Imanaga, who has struggled to keep the ball in the ballpark throughout the second half of the season, gave up two home runs in the game, and Daniel Palencia yielded the Chourio blast as Milwaukee won its second straight
