New Delhi, Oct 7: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is set to introduce QR code-enabled signboards across the country’s national highways, giving commuters quick access to crucial information while travelling.

The initiative, announced by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), is aimed at improving road safety, transparency, and ease of commuting.

According to the release, the vertical signboards will display important project details such as the highway number, project length, chainage, and construction/maintenance timelines.
