In a submission to the state government, the Property Council has strongly supported the project , describing it as a "once-in-a-generation" opportunity to secure the region's future as an industrial hub.

The project would see 200 hectares of unused industrial land owned by BlueScope rezoned for use in a "future-focused hub".
