Mangaluru, Oct 7: Srinivas University has awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sanskrit to Divyashree Jagadeesha Pai B for her thesis titled “srikasimathadhisana? srisudhindratirtha sripadana? jivanadarsa?, samajikacintana?, sa?gha?anacaturya?, sahityasevasca eka? samagramadhyayanam.”

The research, guided by Dr Bhaskara V, explores the life ideals, social thought, organizational skills, and literary contributions of Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji of Sri Kashi Math.

The degree was conferred by Srinivas University honourable chancellor Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao.
