LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - We’ve still got plenty of humidity as we are stepping out the door on this Tuesday morning, which is giving us areas of patchy fog.
Take it a little slow as you are heading out, especially with kids at the bus stop as visibility could be reduced at times.
Sunshine will begin to burn off the fog through the morning and by mid-morning we are looking at mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.
Temperatures will continue to climb throughout the day as we look to reach the upper 80s to near 90 once again.
Rain and storm chances remain on the lower end as the better chances remains to our east, but a stray downpour or brief storm is possible through the evening.
Drier weather will be the theme of the remainder of the week as high pressure begins to settle in overhead.
