A woman asked the Reddit community for advice after clashing with her husband about choosing to undergo skin removal surgery instead of having another child right now.

“This is a really hard post to write, but I really need to know if I’m the a------,” she begins. Two years ago, she weighed 260 pounds and said she was “horribly depressed,” even though she had a loving husband and two young children.

She explained that her husband met her when she was at her lowest. “He loved me anyway despite all of this which I feel is important to specify,” she wrote.
